The tale of Mythos creation begins with the two souls, though not grown together were faced with very similar trials in their life. Through the horrors they faced, one became physically strong to protect not only himself, but the other as well. The pair fled from Africa and found their new lives in Anikira. What started off as just two lovers with a dream of a newer and better life, grew and evolved into something much more. The pair were forced to branch out, to find wolves and others to join their cause. The first to join them was a female, Firefly, who was both dog and wolf. For her, Iatro was the first creature to understand her, and so she decided to join them.

OPTIMUS: Leader of Mythos, this role is to be filled by a single wolf - the one who makes the decisions for the pack. They are the ultimate say, the creator of the rules, and to be respected.

PRIMA: Equal to the Optimus, this role is set for the mate of the Optimus. They are to be respected just as the other, and their word is also law. Any member who shows disrespect to the Prima will suffer the fate designed by the Optimus himself.

CRASSUS: This is the right paw to the Optimus, and the rank is given to a member that he trusts more than any other (aside from the Prima or Vetiti). They are responsible for being a council to the Optimus, accepting members into the pack, and ensuring the proper training is being taken care of.

LAETUS: This is the left paw to the Optimus, and the rank is given to a member that he trusts more than any of the lower ranks. They are responsible for making sure that the Dolium are adjusting well and being taken care of. They are also in charge of the Lupas, Crispicos, and Victus.

MAGNA: There are three members who can hold these positions alone. It is a life long commitment as they are responsible for the safety and protection of the Optimus, the Prima, and the Veteti.

VETETI: The Veteti is one of the most important roles within the pack. As the two leaders are not able to make pups of their own, this position is to be held by a female. This female will be one of the most trusted members of the pack. They will be carrying the future of the pack within their womb. Because they are so important to the pack, from Crassus to the Magnas, they will be responsible for keeping her safe. Once a female has given birth to their pups, she will not hold any parental rights over them - but will be allowed into their lives. After giving one litter, they may resume their normal position with the pack, or keep this one until they are physically unable to breed any longer.

OMNIBUS: This member of the pack is responsible for checking the borders, making sure there are not any threats, and re-marking the lines should there be any issues. They alert the pack of dangers, and are encouraged to accept members into the pack.

OCCISUR: This is the Assassin of the pack. If the Optimus needs someone dead, it is their responsibility to make sure it gets done. They speak to none other than the Optimus and Prima directly. They have no reason to offer assistance to the other members of the pack.

LEGASTUS: This rank is very essential to the pack as it is a non-violent or combative rank. The Legatus is essentially “the face” of Mythos. They are the diplomat and will meet with other Alphas from other packs. They will direct any information to the Optimus and the Prima. They will tell anyone they meet that they are the Optimus.

NUNTIUS: This is the messenger of Mythos. They are responsible for reconnaissance, delivering any treaties, or messages of war.

SACERDOTIS: This is the priest, and they are responsible for many things within the pack. They are the official that states when two are to be joined as one officially. They lead many of the ceremonies, are the pack healer, and have a wealth of knowledge to offer for anyone.

BELLATOR: These are the brawn of the pack. If they are to ever enter any war, these are the strongest and most aggressive bunch of members around. They train most of their time, always prepared for an assault either on their own turf or on another’s lands.

VENANDI: These are the hunters and gatherers of the pack. Towards the heart of the pack, there is a pile of food which is to be kept enough for all the wolves to be able to eat at any moment. Hunters are supposed to provide all the food for the pack, though other members are allowed to go with them, it is not recommended - in case they get injured and are unable to do their own duties.

BARABBAS: Sometimes when the chips are down, you have to have a fall safe in place. Enter the Barabbas! These members are responsible for stealing from others. If they find a kill that has been taken down by another wolf or wolves, they are encouraged to take it from them and bring it back to the pack. They can also steal anything else the pack will need for their own. In the event that Mythos needs more members, they can even steal those as well or loners.

DOLIUM: These are the youth of the pack. They are to choose a mentor when they are just five months old. They can choose multiple mentors to have, so they can learn anything from any member for their future. When they are nearing their second year of life, they must engage in the Inter Incrementum. After completion, they will be granted a rank of which they will hold for all of their lives (unless they get promoted).

LUPA: This rank is held for both males and females. Should any in the pack need some sort of comforting, a little sexual interaction with no strings attached - these are the members they visit.

CRISPICO: This member is responsible for taking care of the Lupas, making sure they are well fed, not abused, and thriving. They are trained in both medicine and fighting, should there be any issues with the Lupa. If there is anything they cannot handle, they are to take this matter to Laetus.

VICTUS: The lowest rank within the pack, it is held for those who are slaves or who have wronged the pack. It is possible to leave this rank in two ways: 1) through showing the pack that they can change, that there is a chance for a new life - they can be promoted or 2) death.
