Ravenis is a world ruled by the cruel and the powerful. The strong rule and the weak serve. Here darkness rules with an iron fist and no mercy, with a slave trade and few morals that allow only the deserving to succeed and reap the benefits of power. To say that Ravenis is an unruly bunch would be an understatement, and only their incredible loyalty and odd friendships are what hold them together. Loyalty and respect are vital to survival here, and disrespect or insubordination result in demotion, expulsion, or death. Slaves and servants are meant to serve their betters no matter what, and these ranks are given based off of lack of strength and lack of skill. Strength and loyalty are rewarded with gifts and power, where weakness and secrets are rewarded with torture and pain. Members of Ravenis would die for each other, and the bonds formed here are often forever. This is not a place for the faint of heart, for Ravenis will crush anyone that is not strong enough to survive here. True power comes from darkness and the ability to ignore morality and weakness to pursue it. Ravenis does just that, leaving nothing but devastation and fear in their wake.H I S T O R Y
Ravenis's history actually comes from multiple past packs of Anikira. Mara was born into Valyn, a pack of powerful female warriors ruled by an equally powerful female named Valeria. However, they were chased from their home in Kal'dyne by the wolves of Kairos during a conquest and that was when Mara took her leave of them. She wandered alone until she came upon Leviathan, a male that had been born to a wolf within Valyn as well. The pair struck up a friendship and along with Leviathan's brother, Raum, they formed Tenebris. The pack made their roots in South Igneir, where they ruled over the mentally unstable wolves that chose to follow them. Eventually Mara and Raum conceived her first litter, and three females were brought into the world. Only one, Tanha, survived. Leviathan's litter that season made their numbers swell, but when both males faltered in their leadership and left the group to be led by Mara alone, she ultimately disbanded the group. From there she traveled north with Masyn and Tanha at her side to form Elysium in the caves of Aleru. Here her following grew once more, and she gave birth to another litter by a different male. It finally seemed as if she had created a strong and stable home for herself when a large young male she had taken in confronted her. He had not been pleased with her leadership, and when she demoted him for his lack of respect, he left the pack entirely. But the peace after his departure did not last long. He returned and challenged Mara for leadership of the pack, a battle which she ultimately lost. Tanha chose to fight as well, but in the end mother and daughter - along with a female from her litter in the caves - left the north. Once again Masyn followed her faithfully, and the remnants of those loyal to her traveled back to South Igneir beside her. There she met Merak, who chose to work alongside her to build Ravenis. But this time around would be different. Mara learned from her past and worked to build Ravenis on a foundation of trust and loyalty. The ideals behind her pack are similar to those she has held in the past, but she no longer demands respect through fear. Instead she promotes trust and loyalty and does what she can to build relationships with the members of Ravenis.

Note, some of the terms below are taken initially from the Harry Potter Universe by JK Rowling but have been edited and used under different meanings here. Though loosely based off of this universe, Ravenis is a completely separate entity from JK Rowling's work.
T I E R - 1
Marauders: These are the leaders of the pack. Their word is law and must be followed without question. They value loyalty and respect above all else, and have no problem getting their paws dirty to further their power.
Fidelius: These are the secret keepers of the pack. They are often the most trusted wolves of the Death Eaters and are tasked with only the most important and secret knowledge. If this knowledge is released in any way without the permission of the Marauders, then the lives of the Fidelius and whoever they have released their vow to are in grave danger. As the most trusted advisers and friends of the Marauders, the Fidelius are oftentimes considered the highest ranking Death Eaters.
Death Eaters: The loyal followers of the Marauders. These wolves are powerful and barely controllable, and it is only their loyalty and respect for the Marauders that keeps them from destroying everything in front of them.
- Kedavra: A Sub-rank of the Death Eaters. These wolves are the most primal and deadly of all Death Eaters. They are often the wolves that perform executions and are frequently on the front line during wars and conflicts as they are the most violent killers and do so without mercy.
- Imperius: These wolves are the most cunning of the Death Eaters. They are often tasked with manipulation and the more delicate operations inside and outside the pack. Wolves within the Imperius rank are masters of secrecy and deception, and it is not uncommon for others to be uncertain whether or not they can be trusted at all times.
Cruciatus: These wolves are charged with the torture and punishment of prisoners and unruly slaves. They are merciless and violent, and often quite enjoy the pain and misery of others. They are dangerous and hard to control, and it is only their loyalty to the Marauders that contains their violent appetites.
T I E R - 2
Minister: This position is perhaps the most powerful and the least powerful of all non-slave/servant ranks at the same time. While this wolf controls the vast majority of the pack beneath them, they still answer completely to the Marauders. They are chosen specifically for their incredible loyalty, and there is nothing that can come between them and their duty to their leaders.
Dementor: These wolves work under the Minister to keep peace within the pack in whatever means necessary. They are often large and powerful, and they will loyally extinguish any disobedience and insubordination wherever they see it. They are dedicated to the Minister and the Marauders, and often enjoy the spoils of their efforts in the form of slaves and gifts for their troubles.
Animagus: These wolves are tasked with diplomacy and manipulation. Often confused with the Imperius, these wolves frequently work with their Death Eater cohorts in order to maintain and build relations with other packs as necessary. This includes slave trade and capture, and though these wolves are powerful in their own right, they are likely the most intelligent canines present and frequently end up being recruited into the Imperius as a reward for their loyalty and hard work.
T I E R - 3
Ferula: These are the healers of the pack. But do not be mistaken by these skills, for they are not the only ones they have. These wolves are also skilled in the use of poisons, so it is wise not to get on their bad sides!
Thestral: These wolves are the hunters of the pack. They are fast and deadly, and they are rarely seen unless they want to be. They are masters of tracking and fighting, and they use their speed and agility to take down prey expertly to feed the pack and strengthen the future of Ravenis.
Patronus: Just barely a step above slaves, these wolves are treated slightly better. They are often kept as “pets” by Death Eaters or higher ranking wolves that prefer to have a companion that they do not need to be completely loyal to. They are often used for pleasure or simple release whenever the higher ranking wolves wish, and they are considered more valuable than Muggles and therefore treated better most of the time.
Muggle: These wolves are slaves. The weak and the disloyal are forced into this position and are required to serve their betters no matter what. Slaves may be to specific owners or to the pack as a whole, but this choice is typically made by the Marauders.
