Summer has finally arrived! The sun has melted the snows in the north and the southern territories are beginning to grow uncomfortably hot and dry. Pups are being born and life seems to finally be getting back to normal after the cure for the disease was found. But how long will it last?
The cure has been found! Wolves on Anikira are recovering from the disease and life is moving forward with the promise of pups in many packs. And yet darkness looms on the horizon, daring the creatures of Anikira to relax and allow themselves to get comfortable once more.
[attr="class","text"]It was not the most peculiar to have the summer rain fall within the last month of summer. It was the Gods way of telling the wolves that Autumn would be coming soon. Though, Sköll felt as if there was more to it than just the changing of the seasons. They too were feeling the loss of Valdís in these lands. Sure they had her up there with them, but all the wolves seemed to be not taking her passing well at all. Especially Sköll. He had always felt particularly close to his mother, even with Raynor always tagging along. He knew that she loved him and would do anything for them. He was hurting and didn't know how to fix it. He knew he had an older brother, not that he had really seen him much, but he hoped that he could seek him out for a bit of wisdom, maybe some form of training. He never got the chance to train with Valdís as he was always too worried about hurting her or being too rough. Raynor rested a few feet from him, lying beside the shore as the small waves rushed over his massive claws. The sun was already on its downward slope into night, but soft flashes of lightning in the distance could be seen. Even the thunder was not very loud, and this only confirmed his thoughts in the Gods even more.
He thought for a moment to leave without saying anything to the bear. But if he had, he knew Raynor would panic and disturb so many others in the pack. Getting up from his spot, he nudged the bear gently with his nose. "Let's go." Was all he said to the bear before turning to the water and jumping in. Raynor followed after him, lazily. The two crossed the water to the main lands. It was not as cold as he remembered it in the winter, which was nice for a change. When they made it ashore, they shook themselves off and moved about the lands rather lazily. "Where are we going?" Raynor asked. But Sköll didn't have the energy to explain he really didn't know. All he knew was that he wanted to get away from the rains the best they could. The large trees would provide some cover for them. Right before Sköll was going to sit down, he picked up a familiar scent nearby. His ears were alert and his eyes started to scan for who it might be. "What is it?" Raynor asks in a loud whisper. But still Sköll ignores him and focuses. Moving slowly, he turns his head to the bear. "Stay." He moves closer as Raynor grumpily lays on the ground. As he approaches the large creature from behind, he tilts his head softly. "Ragnar?"

Jaidah is one of the albinos on the site, a brand new character brought to life by a brand new player. It is interesting to see how such a pure looking being could be wrapped up in the angsty claws that is Irkalla! We will definitely be staying in-tune with this character to see just what heights Bird is able to take her!
