Her life had grown stagnant. Lyra wasn't happy, but had she ever been, really? She had to go on, had to keep living, though she did feel as if Rin was constantly at her shoulder. In some way, even if she couldn't see him, Lyra felt his eyes. The young coywolf tried terribly to stay away from his teeth, not wanting to experience what it meant to have them rip into her. He was... he was rightly terrifying. Demanding, dominant.
He was different to Helios. Helios had been dominant, certainly, but... up until the end, he had made her feel so light, so special. Safe. Lyra didn't quite feel safe, no, she felt as if she'd do something wrong constantly and earn something from Rin. There was a sick sense of comfort, though, in his company. It meant she wasn't alone. He'd come for her, he'd remember she existed and she would have company.
Lyra wasn't sure why she didn't just run. Could she manage it, or would he know? Lyra didn't think herself so special that he'd chase her if he found that she had disappeared, but she certainly felt as if he'd crop up the moment she ventured towards the border. No one else seemed to know she existed, she hadn't seen another soul, though the place smelled heavily of a Pack. Had he, though? Lyra wasn't sure.
That seemed to be her motto currently. Lyra doesn't know. At least the snow had long since melted away, she reasoned - with it she could try and melt away the snow den that Helios had created for them. Where, in the end, he had been sealed in in death. Lyra swallowed harshly, the air was fresh with the scent of rain though it hadn't yet fallen. It came occasionally, the rain. It hadn't fallen in a few days, so Lyra wondered if the stickiness in the air meant a storm was on it's way with the rain.
Tucking her nose into her paws where she rest on the ground beneath a boulder, Lyra tensed her shoulders as her belly grumbled. She could not help but half expect Helios to emerge from the side of the boulder with a meal in her teeth. Lyra had to stop, she knew, she knew the fear she had felt when... well, she knew that there had been something under the surface of Helios that wasn't the kind, charming creature that had come across her. But... she felt as if she couldn't remember that for it would tarnish his memory. It would undo all the good he had done for her.
Sighing softly, Lyra's wide eyes peered around, wondering if she would see anyone new today, or whether Rin would come upon her.
He had wandered off. Then again, he was glad to find that his little pet had not wandered from where he had left her. He had scoped out the area to determine where they would go from the claimed territory he had found her in, and he had decided that they could no longer simply sit around on claimed territory. Though the land next to The Occasus had another pack living within it, from what he could tell the leader had not yet claimed South Igneir for Ravenis. They would be safe from prying eyes there for a time, and he now returned to The Occasus to retrieve her. It was easy for him to find where she had hidden herself away, and the large male wasted no time in approaching her and dropping the hare he had caught along the way at her feet. He had eaten far more meat outside of the pack's territory himself, but he figured the hare would suit the tiny female well enough until they were on lands where he could more freely hunt.
"Eat so we can leave." He said, his voice deep and supposedly threatening, but still somehow calm and relaxed as well. It was more "matter of fact" than anything, and he had little intention of harming her in that moment. He could even pick her up and carry her across the border if she argued, but he doubted that she would do so. She had been fairly compliant and had been behaving since he had initially taken her as his own, and therefore he had spared her the harsher aspects of his personality on many occasions. But he was growing bored of simply laying about and doing nothing, and the little female was perhaps only saved from the fact that the breeding season had come and gone during the incredibly harsh winter. He had been certain that if he had gotten her pregnant she would die in the snow, and he had little desire to serve a pregnant female and hunt for her in such weather.
Therefore she had remained untouched, but he was beginning to wonder why he still held off on fully claiming her as his own. She had been touched by another, surely the male she had killed, but he paid little mind to it. It still seemed she was naive and inexperienced, and perhaps she would be more compliant to him than she had been her former companion. Still, he intended to get them into unclaimed lands, whether she liked it or not. So he sat down to wait for her to eat, his posture relaxed, and yet his expression somewhat impatient and rather bored of the whole ordeal. He did not need to feed her and wait for her to eat, but he also had little desire to carry her the entire way either.

Xerxes is known to Kairos as the Centurion. Accompanied by his hulking size and ragged looks, Xerxes is not a wolf to be trifled with. His love for Kairos and it's members is as strong as he, maybe even stronger. There is no denying the males loyalty to Kairos and Hyperion, having once been the young Emperor's mentor. Recently he captured a new female and became a father once more, Xerxes is determined to do right by his offspring and raise them in the name of Kairos. Xerxes is a wonder to see on the forum, his posts always managing to grip the reader and Grimm, the player, writes him in a way that makes him as compelling as he is. Grimm adopted Xerxes and brought a whole new spin to him, whilst staying true to his core.
